TRX Rip 101 Workshop

In today’s society, our movements are very linear (walking, running, sitting etc.). Our body is designed to move in multiple planes of motion. When we ignore any of those planes we set ourselves up for muscle imbalances, poor movement mechanics and injuries. Most people are not efficient or strong in their ability to do spinal rotation thus limiting their core strength, power generation ability and increasing their risk of injury.

Think of your body as a chain – upper chain and lower chain. You need a strong link in the middle (the core) to connect them.

Another issue that a large number of new users have is doing two opposite movements on either side of their body.  Any push pull exercises, a vast number of people do not keep both arms active. The push arm is typically active, but the pull arm stays tucked into their side.

Very important to take the time to break down the movement and start simple.

It is crucial that your clients can fully understand and demonstrate an easier movement before a more advanced movement is tackled.
In this workshop you will be shown how to effectively teach your clients how to use the Rip the way it was intended.
