The CFES Fitness and Wellness Directory allows visitors to find professionals and facilities nearest them. The directory is a great opportunity for these professionals and facilities to promote their services to a wide audience. Everyone is welcome to visit the directory and everyone is welcome to list their services. You do not need to be a CFES member to do so. We offer free (basic) and paid (premium) listings.
To Add a Listing
A. First Create an Account
Click on CREATE ACCOUNT in the left menu.
Fill in the appropriate boxes that are required to register and follow the directions.
Confirm your account by waiting for the email confirmation from CFES.
B. List Your Services
Login with your username and password by hitting LOGIN NOW in the left menu of the directory homepage.
Select ADVERTISE from the left hand side menu after you have logged in.
Choose the listing type you want.
Select the primary classification (category) where you want your information listed. Hit the folder buttons to open the options, then click on the circle to select the category.
Enter in all the information you desire to add on the Listing page that you were just taken to (see part C for more details on information to add in each field).
C. Enter Your Information
Note: Some fields are not included in a basic listing.
Title: Is what you want the listing title to be in the directory. This is usually your company name, your name, or the company for which you work. It all depends on how you want to advertise your services.
Categories: Remember that you have a primary classification. We also allow you to be placed in multiple categories in addition to that primary classification. Choose all appropriate categories in this field.
Short Description: This description shows up in featured boxes and when a person is looking at multiple listings in the directory on one page.
Description: Although it says descriptions, you can add any content here you like as long as it meets our standards and terms agreement. You can use the editor icons to spice it up with different fonts etc.
Keywords: Are used by the directory search engine. Write in the most appropriate terms that best describe you and your services. This will help connect you with the type of customer you are looking for.
Meta Title/Description and Keywords: These fields are for search engine optimization with Google, Yahoo etc. Although less importance is placed on these terms by the companies, they do help you to be ranked higher in search engines, thus increasing the chance that your listing will be found.
Phone, Fax, Address 1, 2: Self explanatory
Location: Select the town or city that is closest to you or where you do the majority of your business. If you do a lot of business in separate towns, you may want to do more than one listing, i.e. A listing for each town in which you want to be categorized.
Zip Code: Postal Code
Latitude/Longitude: If you don’t know the latitude and longitude of your business location, then use the SELECT COORDINATES MAP and click on your location by zooming into the appropriate place.
Website/Email: Self explanatory
Position: This is your job title
Address(es): If you work out of multiple locations, this is a way to add all your locations, aside from your primary place of business that you listed above.
Now Available: Is a way to announce new services or key services you offer.
Areas: Select the appropriate types of work you do. Hold down the CTRL key and click on each of the work areas that apply to you.
Degrees/Diplomas: Self explanatory
Achieved: Hold down the CTRL key and select all the certifications you currently have.
Achieved (speciality): Enter any speciality certifications that were not listed above.
Fees/Rates, Payment methods, Languages: All self explanatory
From Happy Customers: Enter testimonials in here from as many customers as you like.
Facebook/Twitter: Enter in your page internet links if you have one for each.
Classes: Enter class details that you want to promote in the directory or a link to where they can find information.
Logo: Upload your logo.
